Erin Mendoza, PsyD

Erin Mendoza, PsyD

Following a decade of dedicated personal mindfulness practice, Erin Mendoza became a certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher through the UCSD Mindfulness-Based Professional Training Institute, where she continues to receive advanced training and work closely with senior mindfulness teachers.

Throughout her career, Erin has brought mindfulness practices and programming to clients across a variety of settings, including county jail systems, community mental health centers, public school systems, psychiatric hospitals, VA clinics, and more. Since co-founding the Two Rivers Mindfulness Institute in 2018, Erin has facilitated numerous mindfulness-based groups, including MBSR, Unwinding Anxiety, mPeak, personalized mindfulness training, and more. Additionally, she regularly offers professional presentations and continuing education events. Erin is also a licensed clinical psychologist in New Jersey, where she provides mindfulness-based psychotherapy.

Meg Mindell, LCSW, C-ASWCM 4x3

Meg Mindell, LCSW

Meg has been a practitioner of Mindfulness and meditation since 2014. She became a partner in the Two Rivers Mindfulness Institute in 2024. Meg provides individual, group, and corporate training that teaches individuals how to apply mindfulness in their daily lives. The intention of practice is to learn how to pay attention in the present moment, to open up, and see all of life with greater compassion, clarity, curiosity, and wisdom.

Meg is certified as a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Educator through Brown University. She has attended many workshops and trainings with Jon Kabat-Zinn, the founder of MBSR at UMass Medical School’s world-renowned clinic. Formerly an entrepreneur and owner of a healthcare company, Meg has a holistic understanding of the unique stressors that both leaders and employees face. Her corporate presentations are informative, insightful, supportive, and engaging. She brings professionalism, presence, and sincere compassion to her work. Meg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist in private practice, offering mindfulness programs and workshops.

Joshua R. Cohen, PhD

Joshua R. Cohen, PhD

Joshua Cohen is a mindfulness practitioner since 2008, and a certified Mindfulness for Performance Enhancement, Awareness, and Knowledge (mPEAK) coach through the UCSD. As an mPEAK coach, Josh assists individuals in achieving personal and professional goals while enhancing performance and well-being. Additionally, Josh has earned qualifications in a system developed by Brown University mindfulness researcher and neuroscientist Judson Brewer, MD, PhD, that combines mindfulness and behavioral neuroscience to facilitate habit change. Furthermore, he has participated in other mindfulness-based professional training, including programs in mindfulness and compassion-based practices.

Joshua enjoys the ongoing pursuit of personal and professional education in these areas. Since co-founding the Two Rivers Mindfulness Institute in 2018, Josh has developed and facilitated countless mindfulness-based groups and delivered dozens of trainings and talks related to mindfulness-based interventions and psychotherapies. Josh is also a licensed neuropsychologist and founder of Two Rivers Behavioral Health, a group private practice in Oceanport, NJ.
